Privacy Policy

01Who we are

Nestround is made in Kosovo by Egzon Pllana, an independent developer (“Nestround”, “we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

For anything about your privacy, write to support@nestround.com.

02What stays on your iPhone

Most of what you put into Nestround never leaves your phone:

• Your stays: address, dates, door code, Wi-Fi details, host contact and notes
• Your plans and the places in them
• Saved places and the categories you pick
• Tickets, booking confirmations, photos and files you add
• Your settings, such as walk time and language

Tickets and booking confirmations are read on the device. Nestround doesn’t upload them to us or to any AI service.

If you use iCloud backup, your iPhone backup, including Nestround data, is stored in your iCloud account under Apple’s privacy policy. We can’t read it.

03Your location

With your permission, Nestround uses your location while you use the app to:

• show what’s around you and how far it is on foot
• measure walking times from where you are
• notice when you arrive in a new city
• send leave-now reminders for your plan, if you turn them on

We don’t keep a history of where you’ve been. You can change location access at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Nestround. Without location, you can still add a stay by address and explore around it.

04Services we use

Some features need information from other services. Each one receives only what it needs, without your name or contact details.

Apple Maps (MapKit)

Places, addresses, search suggestions, directions and walking times. Apple receives the area on screen and what you search for. Apple’s privacy policy applies.

Apple Weather (WeatherKit)

The forecast for your stay. Apple receives the approximate location of the stay.

Apple Translation

Phrases and text you choose to translate are translated on your iPhone. iOS may download a language the first time you use it. The text isn’t sent to us.

AI service provider

Day-plan suggestions. It receives the places and times in your plan request. Our agreement does not allow it to use this data to train its models.

Google Maps

Only if you tap “Open in Google Maps”. The Google Maps app then handles the route under Google’s terms.

05AI features

Nestround is an AI-first app. AI helps suggest how to fill a day and read tickets. Translations are made on your iPhone by Apple Translation. How it works explains what AI does and where it can be wrong.

Never sent to an AI service: your tickets and files, door codes, Wi-Fi passwords, notes and contact details.

06What we don’t collect

• We don’t ask for your name, email address or phone number to use Nestround.
• We don’t sell personal data.
• We don’t link the data we collect to your identity.
• We don’t read the content of your stays, plans, tickets or notes.

07Data we collect to improve Nestround

To keep Nestround working and to improve it, we collect the data below. It is collected without your name or contact details and is not linked to your identity.

Usage data

Which features and screens are used, how often, and where people get stuck. For example, how many plans are created or which map categories are opened. We never collect what you type, your addresses, tickets or notes.

Crash and performance data

Crash logs, error reports, load times, app version, iOS version and device model. We use them to find and fix problems.

Advertising data

When we advertise Nestround, we measure which ads and campaigns lead to downloads, using aggregated data from Apple’s ad attribution. Nestround doesn’t track you: it never asks for, reads or shares your device’s advertising identifier.

We use trusted analytics and crash-reporting service providers to process this data on our behalf. They may use it only to provide their services to us, and are bound by contracts that require them to protect it.

Your choices

You can turn off sharing with app developers in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

08This website

This website doesn’t use cookies for advertising or tracking. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for up to 30 days to keep the site secure.

09When you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply and to fix what you report. We keep support conversations for up to 2 years, then delete them.

10Why we may use your data

We process personal data to provide the features you ask for (performance of our agreement with you), to keep Nestround secure and working (our legitimate interests), and where you have given consent, such as location access. You can withdraw consent at any time in iOS Settings.

11Keeping and deleting data

Data on your phone stays until you delete it. You can delete a stay, a plan, a ticket or a file in the app at any time. Deleting Nestround removes everything stored on the phone. Data held by the services above follows their own retention rules.

12Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
• correct it
• delete it
• limit or object to how we use it

Write to support@nestround.com. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your data protection authority. In Kosovo this is the Information and Privacy Agency; in the EU, the authority in your country.

13Data outside your country

Some of the services above process data in other countries, including the United States. When they do, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

14Children

Nestround is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal data. If you think a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

15Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data in a significant way, we tell you in the app before it takes effect.
